3.8 mile circular walk – Webb’s Gully & Castle Copse
Starting at Great Bedwyn village hall this walk takes us along tracks and through woods towards Burridge Heath, then we turn to come down the wooded Webb’s Gully and across the road to return through Castle Copse in Bedwyn Brail and back down across fields to Bedwyn.
This countryside route uses bridleways and footpaths for all of its length except for one road crossing and a very short road section at the end. The inclines are steady but not steep. There are no stiles, however the gully and bridleways are often muddy and slippery at this time of year so make sure that you have suitable footwear.
Non-members, children and dogs on leads are always welcome. Just come along to the start or send an email for more details: firstname.lastname@example.org
